A 39 episode anime series was developed by Toei in 1972 and Nagai began Devilman as a manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine, barely a month before the. įor those who want a more accessible option for Devilman prints, this machine can print scenes from the anime for 500 yen. Devilman is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Go Nagai which originally started as an anime adaptation of the concept of Nagai's previous manga series, Demon Lord Dante. MIKI created these ‘Mixed Media’ Devilman prints. Ken Shiozaki, a Japanese-style painter, produced ukiyo-e prints of Devilman. Kojo Masayuki, famed bujinga artist, produced original artwork of Amon from DEVILMAN Crybaby. In the pop up shop, fans can see and buy traditional artwork based on the series.
